David is a chartered town planner and qualified urban designer with over 20 years’ experience in the assessment and design of development proposals for greenfield and brownfield sites.

His main area of expertise is in landscape planning, having carried out a large number of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and Townscape Assessments of strategic large-scale developments and proposals for smaller sites. He has been the lead author on various planning and environmental reports to support the promotion of sites via the development plan process and has provided advice on a variety of planning applications throughout his career.  David has extensive experience across various sectors including residential, education, health and transport and has acted on behalf of both private and public sector clients.
